What it is like
Playa de Tras de Punta is one of five adjoining beaches—together with Mar de Lira, Portocubelo, Porto Ancho and Gabota—that form a small rustic group. Its 100 metres in length and 10 metres in width bring together sand, boulders and white rock on a semi-urban, lightly occupied stretch with calm waters. Vegetation and protection by the Natura 2000 Network provide a natural setting despite the area’s semi-urban classification. It is accessed by car from the C-550, with an interurban bus service. Its small scale and continuity with the other four sites define the coastal experience.
