Playa Porto Cubelo forms part of a group of five small contiguous beaches—Mar de Lira, Portocubelo, Tras de Punta, Porto Ancho and Gabota—described as rustic and little frequented. Its white beach measures 200 metres long and 20 metres wide, with a semi-urban frontage, vegetation and a setting included in the Natura 2000 Network. Calm waters complete the secluded character of the place, accompanied by a seafront promenade. It is accessed by car via the C-550; the beach also has parking for people with reduced mobility, showers and a food service.
