Playa de Porto da Barca is a small isolated beach 150 metres long and 20 metres wide, formed by sand and white rock in a mountain landscape protected by the Natura 2000 Network. Its most recognisable feature is a breakwater and a mooring point for small boats, which explain the name and configuration of the place. Calm waters and low occupancy complete a vegetated, little-urbanised stretch. It is accessed by car from the C-550, with an interurban bus service in the vicinity. A fish farm is located nearby.
