What it is like
Playa de Tranqueru is an isolated beach 250 metres long and 20 metres wide, surrounded by cliffs and located in an area of high ecological value. Its golden sand and gravel form a mountainous, vegetation-covered frontage with medium visitor numbers and moderate surf. The entry also notes its frequent use by fishermen. Access on foot from the AS-239 is difficult and signposted, but no beach facilities are recorded. The reference port is Candás.
