What it is like
Playa Les Huelgues is located near the Ciudad Residencial de Perlora and combines golden sand with rock in a semi-urban stretch 120 metres long and 30 metres wide. Vegetation accompanies the beach, whose visitor numbers are moderate and whose usual conditions include moderate swell. Its character is simple: the record states that it has only some facilities, although it lists toilets, showers, food, cleaning and a sports area. Access is easy on foot or by car via the N-632, with more than 100 parking spaces and an interurban bus service between Gijón and Luanco.
