Beach at a glance
What it is like
Playa de Salpatx takes its name from an islet opposite the beach, whose outline resembles a boot. The cove, formed by rounded stones, opens at the foot of a cliff and reaches 170 metres in length but barely 10 metres in width, in an isolated setting with vegetation. It is included in the Les Planasses natural area, within Parc Natural del Montgrí, les Illes Medes i el Baix Ter. Access is on foot and difficult, via the GR-92 coastal path.
