Playa del Codolar, also called Cala del Contraban, is an urban pebble beach below the L'Escala seafront promenade. It is 100 metres long and 15 metres wide, with moderate waves and environmental protection. Access is via steps from the promenade, on Ll. Albert street, and is classified as difficult on foot; arrival by boat is also contemplated. The listing notes blue-zone parking with more than 100 spaces and an urban bus connection.
