What it is like
Playa Pormenande is a stony stretch of rounded stones and gravel, situated between mountains and vegetation within a ZEPA/Site of Community Importance (SCI) protected area. A small tombolo connects it on its right-hand side to the islet of El Rego, whose summit is reached by a path; this connection is its most distinctive feature. The beach is 190 metres long and 15 metres wide, with moderate visitor numbers and swell. Access is easy on foot or by car from the N-634, with fewer than 50 parking spaces. There are toilets, showers, food, cleaning and the possibility of diving.
