What it is like
Playa de Armazá is an isolated, stony beach 310 metres long, made up of pebbles and gravel below a cliff. Its vegetated surroundings belong to a ZEPA and a Site of Community Importance (SCI), with low visitor numbers and moderate surf. On the western side, a viewpoint rises above Punta del Castello, structuring the immediate landscape. Access on foot from the N-634 is difficult and no beach facilities are recorded; the reference port is Navia.
