What it is like
Playa de Taluxa is a secluded cove barely 60 metres long and 20 metres wide, made up of dark sand and gravel and surrounded by cliffs. Its isolated character, low visitor numbers and difficult access on foot help explain why it is habitually used by fishermen. The surf is moderate and the surroundings have vegetation. It is reached from the AS-239, although the entry records no beach facilities; the reference port is Candás.
