What it is like

Characteristics published by official sources

The most distinctive feature of Playa Estaño is the Pozo del Cura, a natural pool carved into the rock. It is a small semi-urban beach, 300 metres long and only 17 metres wide, formed by sand and gravel and set against a mountainous frontage. It has strong swell and a medium level of services. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the AS-256, with fewer than 50 parking spaces and an urban bus connection on route 25.
