What it is like
Playa El Corral is an isolated, semi-open beach set in a landscape of mountains and cliffs of volcanic origin. It is 250 metres long and 50 metres wide, with white sand also described as a mixture of coarse gravel, and waters usually experiencing moderate swell. Its most distinctive feature is the natural pools that form along the shore, which is why it is frequented by families. The beach belongs to a Natural Park and Biosphere Reserve; it is easily reached on foot or by car via the AL-5106.
