Playa Las Marinicas occupies a long stretch of golden sand between Carboneras’s industrial port and fishing port. Its 1,330-metre length and 75-metre width form a semi-urban beach with usually calm waters and heavy visitor numbers. The seafront promenade and the proximity of the ports define the landscape, while the presence of nautical and sporting services explains its use for scuba diving, as stated in the listing.
