What it is like
Cala de Enmedio is recognised for its isolation within the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Maritime-Terrestrial Natural Park, in a mountainous setting with calm waters. Its shore, 130 metres long and 37 metres wide, combines golden sand and gravel. Access requires walking along a difficult path, although it can also be reached by car via the AL-5106. The beach has access signage and a cleaning service; its secluded character and the difficult path explain the tranquillity of the place.
