Playa del Rec del Molí is situated on the outskirts of L'Escala and comprises 330 metres of golden sand along a semi-urban coastline with an average width of 25 metres. Vegetation and the seafront promenade accompany a space mainly frequented by local residents, close to the ruins of the Greek city of Ampurias. Waves are moderate and conditions can be windy; the water is regularly somewhat cloudy, according to the observation provided. Access is easy on foot or by car via the GI-623, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles and adapted services.
