What it is like
Playa de Les Muscleres is divided into two distinct parts, Les Muscleres Grans and Les Muscleres Petites, near the ruins of the Greek city of Ampurias. The isolated golden-sand beach is 250 metres long and 25 metres wide, with a seafront promenade, vegetation, an anchorage area and moderate waves, as well as wind. Visitor numbers are high. Its underwater seabed preserves ancient Greek and Roman remains; access is easy on foot, with more than 100 parking spaces and basic services.
