Playa de San Gabriel, also known as Playa de Babel, is a 240-metre-long and barely 5-metre-wide deposit of sand beside the channelled San Gabriel ravine and the port of Alicante. Its urban frontage and moderate waves complete a narrow shore with medium occupancy. Pedestrian access is via a metal footbridge over the railway, beside San Gabriel halt; there is also an urban bus service on route 1. It has bins and cleaning.
