Playa de L'Albufereta is an urban beach of dark sand and calm waters northwest of Alicante. It is 423 metres long and has an average width of 20 metres, with a seafront promenade and an anchorage area accompanying a high-occupancy frontage. Access is easy on foot or by car via the A-190, and the number 22 urban bus also serves it. For everyday use it offers toilets, foot-washing facilities, catering and hire of sun loungers, parasols and nautical equipment; in summer it provides assistance for people with disabilities.
