Playa de L'Altet is a large natural area of golden sand measuring 1,620 metres long and 120 metres wide on average. Its identity is linked to the dune ecosystems on the northern coast of Elx, within a protected natural setting with vegetation. It has moderate surf and medium occupancy, while the available services are described as temporary. It is easily reached on foot or by car from the N-332, with parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles; there is also an interurban bus service from Alicante and Santa Pola, 3 kilometres away.
