Playa de La Fossa, also called Playa de Levante, is an urban beach of golden sand reaching 1,000 metres in length and an average width of 40 metres in Calp. Its frontage, accompanied by a seafront promenade, has high occupancy and moderate wave conditions, with the Real Club Náutico de Calpe as a port reference. It is easily reached on foot or by car via avenida de la Marina, with more than 100 parking spaces and an urban bus service. Nearby there are catering facilities, hire of sun loungers, parasols and nautical equipment, and a children’s area.
