Playa de Cantal Roig is a small golden-sand beach beside the Puerto de Calpe, 220 metres long and 20 metres wide. Although the listing classifies it as natural, its immediate surroundings are the Natura 2000 Network protected area and are marked by the proximity of the Peñón de Ifach, a Natural Park and symbol of Calpe. Its usual waters are calm. Access is easy on foot or by car via Avenida de Europa, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles. The adjacent harbour area has bars and restaurants, as well as toilets and children’s play equipment.
