What it is like
Cala El Racó is a small pebble cove without sand, located beside the southern breakwater of the Port of Calpe. It reaches barely 72 metres in length and 20 metres in width, with calm waters and an urban setting associated with the Parque Natural and Marine Reserve. The ecological promenade Príncipe de Asturias begins at the cove itself, providing a landscape continuity expressly associated with the site. Access is easy on foot or by car from avenida de Europa, and there are showers, food and drink outlets, cleaning and a diving service.
