Beach at a glance
What it is like
Playa de Morelló is a very small urban beach, measuring just 50 metres long and 10 metres wide. Its golden sand mixes with rock, and the beach lies beside a protected natural setting in the Red Natura 2000 network, with a promenade and vegetation. The usual waters are calm, although attendance is recorded as high. It is easily reached on foot or by car via avenida de Europa, with fewer than 50 parking spaces and an urban bus service to the port of Calpe. Toilets, showers, a sports area and cleaning services complete its practical facilities.
