Playa de La Concha occupies a central position in La Concha Bay, between the fishing port of San Sebastián and Pico del Loro, which separates it from Ondarreta. It is a large urban beach of golden sand, 1,350 metres long and 40 metres wide, accompanied by the Paseo de la Concha and an anchorage area. Occupancy is high and the usual waves are gentle. Access is easy on foot, by car or by boat, with supervised parking for more than 100 vehicles and numerous transport connections. There are toilets, showers, food, a yacht club and assisted bathing.
