What it is like

La Playa de la Isla occupies a small strip of golden sand on Santa Clara island, within La Concha bay. At just 21 metres long and 4 metres wide, it lies before a mountainous coastal frontage and forms only at low tide. Access is exclusively by boat: in summer there is a boat service, while in winter a private vessel is required. The island also offers a picnic area, bar and basic services.
