Playa de Gaztetape opens south-west of Mount San Antón as a semi-urban stretch 210 metres long and 92 metres wide. The mixture of sand, cobbles and rock, the golden sand and the seafront promenade give it a varied character, while strong waves and wind form part of its usual conditions. The description indicates good conditions for surfing, and the entry includes an area designated for this activity. Access is easy on foot or by car via the N-634, with supervised parking for fewer than 50 vehicles, toilets and foot-washing facilities.
