What it is like
Playa de Orruaga, also called Orrua, is a pebble beach very close to the road between Getaria and Zumaia, with the mountain as its coastal frontage. Its shore reaches 310 metres in length and 40 metres in width, in an isolated setting usually subject to strong waves and wind. It is included in a strictly protected coastal area and is used mainly for surfing, according to the available observations. Access is on foot or by car, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles.
