What it is like
Playa Carchuna is a very extensive beach of dark shingle, reaching 3,814 metres in length and 60 metres in width. Its size allows it to retain a tranquil appearance despite medium visitor numbers, while intensive greenhouse cultivation surrounds the urban frontage. The waves are moderate, and the area offers toilets, showers, catering, a sports area and a children's playground, as well as adapted infrastructure. It is easily reached on foot or by car from the N-340, with more than 100 parking spaces.
