What it is like
Playa Caldebarcos is located at the mouth of the Valdebois river, beside a wetland protected as a natural area. Its 300 metres of white sand and rock, with a width of 45 metres, form a wetland frontage accompanied by vegetation and protection from the Natura 2000 Network and a Site of Community Importance (SCI). Low occupancy and calm waters fit its rustic and semi-urban character. It is accessed by car from the C-550, with an interurban bus service; it has showers and foot-washing stations, and the details mention a summer beach bar serving ice creams and soft drinks.
