Playa A Insuela is an isolated beach in Carnota, formed by white sand and rock, 150 metres long and 20 metres wide. The mountainous frontage is accompanied by vegetation and a setting protected as a Site of Community Importance (SCI), while its usual waters are calm and anchorage is available. A municipal wastewater treatment plant is located nearby, a specific feature of the immediate surroundings. It is accessed by car from the C-550, with signposting and an interurban bus service. It has showers, foot-washing stations, bins and a cleaning service.
