Beach at a glance
What it is like
Playa Corna Becerra belongs to a group of three contiguous rustic beaches, together with Pedrullo Corna Becerra and Salomba. Its 165 metres of white sand and rock, with a width of 20 metres, occupy a mountainous frontage of vegetation protected as a Site of Community Importance (SCI). Low occupancy and strong surf accompanied by wind explain why it is little frequented. It is reached on foot via a difficult access from the C-550, with an interurban bus connection. The setting thus retains a direct relationship between isolation, relief and coastal exposure.
