What it is like
Playa de Faneroque, also called Playa de Faneque or Playa de Tamadaba, is a volcanic cove of black sand situated below Risco Faneque, a cliff just over 1,000 metres high. Its 260-metre length and 65-metre width combine dark sand and rounded stones on a cliff-lined frontage within the Parque Natural de Tamadaba. Occupancy is low and access on foot is difficult: it requires a 1.460-kilometre walk from the GC-200 road reference.
