What it is like
Playa de las Salinas is a rounded-stone beach at the mouth of the Barranco de Agaete, with a semi-urban frontage and seafront promenade. Its 160-metre length and 20-metre width are associated with surroundings usually subject to wind and moderate waves. The site includes three natural pools connected by tunnels, a feature that extends the layout of the site beyond the open shore. It can be reached on foot from Avenida Paseo de los Poetas or by car, after walking 0.22 kilometres, with parking and an interurban bus.
