What it is like
Playa de Guayedra lies on an isolated mountainous coast of Gran Canaria, within the Parque Natural de Tamadaba. Its 200-metre length and 48-metre width combine sand and rounded stones, with vegetation, high occupancy and usual conditions of strong waves and constant wind. Access is via the Guayedra ravine: the first 0.7 kilometres can be covered by car, although the total route requires a 0.9-kilometre walk. The beach is nudist and the available information warns of the danger of falling rocks.
