What it is like
Playa del Faro is a narrow strip of fine sand and rocks situated between Faro de Calaburras and Piedras del Cura. Its extent, 1,380 metres in length and 15 metres in width, crosses a sparsely urbanised area with a semi-urban character and lies within the Calahonda Special Area of Conservation. Access is easy on foot or by car from the A-7, with parking and an interurban bus. The coastal promenade has showers, toilets and a food service.
