What it is like
Playa El Castillo, also called El Egido, is the Fuengirola beach located before crossing the Fuengirola river and beside Sohail Castle. Its 699-metre length and 50-metre width bring together dark sand in a semi-urban setting, integrated into the large Fuengirola beach. The nearby historic-artistic castle complex gives the beach a particularly recognisable setting. Access is easy on foot or by car from the A-7, with more than 100 parking spaces and an urban bus connection. It also has a promenade, an accessible bathing area and nautical services.
