Playa de Cova de Balea is a tiny white-sand beach that practically disappears when the tide rises. Its 15 metres of length and 16 metres of width form a small semi-urban shore accompanied by vegetation and calm waters. This variation in surface is the feature that most affects its appearance and use. Access is described as difficult on foot, although arrival by car via the PO-551 is also listed; there is parking for fewer than 50 vehicles and an interurban bus service from Pontevedra towards Cangas.
