What it is like
Playa de Sartaxéns occupies an intermediate stretch between Menduiña and Francón beaches, in a semi-urban setting with vegetation. Its 150-metre length and 15-metre width are covered by white sand, with calm waters and usually low occupancy. The PO-551 allows arrival by car or on foot, although pedestrian access is listed as difficult; there is also an interurban connection between Pontevedra and Cangas. The cleaning service and Puerto de Rodeira complete the practical references.
