Playa Francón forms, with Area Cova, a group of similar beaches on Cangas's semi-urban coast. Its 200 metres of length and 25 metres of width combine white sand, vegetation, calm waters and an anchorage area, in a space with high occupancy. It is reached on foot or by car, although the path is not signposted and is in very poor condition. Practical facilities include toilets, showers, foot-wash facilities, litter bins, cleaning, food and a bus connection.
