What it is like
Playa de Os Picos forms, together with San Cibrán, a beach at the mouth of the Orxas river, with each section on one of its banks. Its golden sand occupies 120 metres of length and 10 metres of width, in an urban setting with calm waters, a promenade and vegetation. The surface fluctuates with the tides, an essential feature of this riverside space. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the PO-551, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles, an interurban bus service, showers, a sports area and a children’s playground.
