What it is like
Playa de Tenrero, also known as Verdicio, is a coarse golden-sand beach whose most notable environmental feature is its dune system of high ecological value. Its 330-metre length and 80-metre width lie in a dune frontage within the Paisaje Protegido del Cabo Peñas, with vegetation and additional protection. Important Palaeolithic sites are located nearby. Access is easy on foot or by car via the AS-239, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles, showers, cleaning and food services.
