What it is like
Playa de Sisurko, also called Laondoko portua, is an isolated beach on the mountainous slope of Jaizkibel, west of Cape Higer. Its 48-metre length and 30-metre width combine pebbles and rock in a vegetated setting, incorporated into the Natura 2000 Network through the Jaizkibel Site of Community Importance (SCI) and Special Area of Conservation (SAC). Access is difficult and is on foot via the GI-3440 road. The shoreline is exposed to strong waves and wind, with usually low occupancy. The listing includes diving and Puerto de Hondarribia as the nautical reference.
