Playa de Santa Mariña is an isolated stretch of golden sand and rock, measuring 250 metres in length and 20 metres in width, facing a cliff landscape protected by Red Natura 2000. The beach is practically covered at high tide, a feature that affects its visible form and distinguishes it from other beaches in the area. It has low occupancy and conditions ranging from moderate to strong waves. Access is difficult and is on foot from the Arteixo to Baldaio road; the interurban bus leaves passengers 2 kilometres from the area.
