Playa de San Román is an urban beach of golden sand and calm waters, integrated into the semi-urban surroundings of the Reserva Natural Parcial de la Ría del Eo. It is 240 metres long and 20 metres wide, with vegetation around it and additional protection as a ZEPA and a Site of Community Importance (SCI). Its most decisive practical feature is access: it is reached via Playa de Figueras at low tide, along a route on foot classified as difficult. The entry links it to the Figueras marina and records no other services.
