What it is like
Playa de Gabieira, also called Olga or Arnela, is a cove in a completely natural condition with low occupancy, isolated beneath a cliff landscape protected as a Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and Biosphere Reserve. Its 45 metres in length and 30 metres in width combine sand, boulders and golden rock, with calm waters and a width that, according to the official observation, may vary between 10 and 60 metres. This variation completes the image of an irregular, little-transformed site. Access is difficult and is on foot from the N-634. Vegetation forms part of the immediate surroundings.
