Playa O Cargadeiro is a small beach in Ribadeo between the port and the lighthouse of Isla Pancha. Its name comes from an old loading point that is still preserved and restored on the beach itself, formed by white sand and rock, 35 metres long and 15 metres wide. The cliff frontage lies within an area classified as ZEC, ZEPA, Ramsar and Reserva de la Biosfera, alongside a promenade and vegetation. It is easily reached on foot from the Club Náutico by following the seafront promenade; there is parking for fewer than 50 vehicles, showers and children’s play equipment.
