What it is like
Playa de Sacido is a semi-urban beach 130 metres long and 40 metres wide, formed entirely of white sand. Its low occupancy and calm waters temper the proximity of the urban surroundings, while the promenade, vegetation and protection as a Site of Community Importance (SCI) provide continuity to the landscape. The width may vary between 30 and 80 metres, depending on the area. Access on foot from the LU-643 is easy, with an urban bus service; specific facilities include showers, foot-washing facilities, litter bins, cleaning and a food service.
