What it is like
Playa Area is an extensive, frequently visited semi-urban beach, 1,150 metres long and with a width varying between 40 and 90 metres. The white sand stretches before a dune frontage, with vegetation and protection as a Site of Community Importance (SCI), while the usual waves are moderate. Its character is completed by a setting prepared for family use: a recreational area, children's playground and adapted facilities such as an amphibious chair and adapted toilets. Access is easy on foot, with between 50 and 100 parking spaces, toilets, showers and catering.
