What it is like
Playa de Roque Bermejo lies at the foot of an impressive cliff, on an isolated beach of dark sand with waters described as crystal clear. Its dimensions are limited: 120 metres long and 16 metres wide, within a Reserva de la Biosfera. The main access is by boat, although the entry also allows for a difficult walking route, and the anchorage forms part of the port surroundings. Visitor numbers are low; a food service is mentioned as an occasional support, with no other beach facilities indicated.
