What it is like
Playa de Almaciga occupies an isolated stretch opposite a cliff, in a protected rocky setting where vegetation accompanies a dark-sand beach. Its 300-metre length and 35-metre width form a mixed strip of sand and rock, usually exposed to strong waves. The main access is by car via the TF-134, with fewer than 50 parking spaces; an interurban line also serves it. Although it has no general facilities, it does have litter bins, cleaning and a catering service.
